Finding a Baby Deer during a Site Investigation

Fortunately our well experienced team knew not to worry, and to leave this very young deer alone. It is very common for mother deer to leave their fawns for up to 12 hours per day to forage for food, and since the new born fawns cannot keep up, they often lay in vegetation alone.

It was an exciting site investigation!
