Richard is a Technical Director with Gondolin Land & Water and joined the team in August 2023. Richard specialises in the areas of Windfarm Infrastructure design, drainage and SuDS design, contracts management and construction phase support. Richard also has relevant CDM Principal Designer experience.
Senior Hydrologist
Katie Brydie

Katie has over four years consultancy experience in the Water and Environment Industry and joined the team in April 2024, fulfilling the role of Senior Hydrologist. Katie’s primary role involves technical delivery for projects relating to hydrology, hydrogeology, flood risk, surface water management, peat and geology.

James joined the Gondolin Team in March 2023 and specialises in the areas of geology, drainage, water quality monitoring, land quality and Peat. James is an extremely enthusiastic member of the Team and is known for his willingness to get involved with site work and learn new skills.

Anna joined Gondolin in the summer of 2024 and brings experience of providing specialist support to projects in the water and environment industry. Anna has particular experience in the subject areas of Peat Management / Restoration and contributing towards onshore energy infrastructure projects across the UK.

Greig joined the company in 2022 and provides general civil engineering and CAD support to the wider team. Greig also assists the team in undertaking field work and site investigations.

Annie Steingold

Annie joins us as a recent graduate of Ecological and Environmental Science at the University of Edinburgh. Having focused her dissertation on hydrology and water quality, and with previous experience in hydrological field work and freshwater science, Annie’s contribution to the Gondolin team will be invaluable.

Charlie joins us as a Graduate Civil Engineer, expected to graduate with an MEng in Civil Engineering (with Honours) from the University of Edinburgh. The experience gained during this university degree provided Charlie with knowledge of a range of the different facets of Civil Engineering, which will be put to good use in the Gondolin team.

Duncan joined Gondolin Land & Water in early 2024 as a Graduate Civil Engineer after graduating with a MEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Edinburgh. Duncan's experience during his university degree has included numerous projects / courses related to the water environment and thus he will be able to apply specific knowledge gained to this new role.

Patrick joined Gondolin in early 2024 after graduating with a BSC degree in Environmental and Ecological Sciences from the University of Edinburgh. Along with relevant water environment knowledge gained during his studies, Patrick has also worked on construction sites and has gained great experience during this time.
